It started with extreme clumsiness.
Not surprisingly, Cast Artists began with a broken bone. Nikita's [then] seven-year-old daughter (in all her poise and grace) tripped over someone during an intense game of line tag the very first week of summer.
Determined to cheer up her crushed daughter, Nikita took her to the craft store where they bought sequins, glue, and swarvorski crystals. A lot of patience, and a full Disney movie later, the first piece of Cast Art was created. The pair got so many compliments on the creation that, with the encouragement of family, friends, and strangers on the street, Cast Artists was born.
We know breaking a bone is not fun or exciting, but there's no reason it can't be a positive experience. We want our clients to enjoy their healing process, and what better way than with amazing, unique artwork on your cast?
